There is no other animal in the African Bushveld that has such a hold on me like an elephant does. Lions, leopards and cheetahs are interesting but there is something powerful about an elephant, there is an aura of calmness and grace that no other animal in Africa holds. The last few years has seen me seek out their presence. I have enjoyed countless hours in their company and have loved watching their antics. For an animal that is so large and unlike any other there are so many similarities that exist between us and them. It is this aspect of these great creatures that keeps me entertained for hours on end and has me seeking the bulky forms rather than chasing Africa's more elusive creatures. This is a collection of my most prized elephant images that have been captured in all corners of the continent, and is a collection that I hope will show you that Elephants really are the most amazing animals to walk on our earth.
